Casshan’s Bionic / Who’s Gonna Love Ya? delivers a powerful collision of cyber-soul, Afrofuturist boom-bap and alternative hip-hop. Built around a forceful vocal performance, raw lyrical energy and soulful samples, the track has the larger-than-life intensity of a protagonist’s theme song. Its futuristic aesthetic fits naturally with Casshan’s fusion of anime culture, hip-hop and fantasy storytelling, while the production keeps a strong old-school boom-bap foundation underneath the more experimental elements. Bionic feels confrontational and cinematic, turning mechanical warfare into a metaphorical battle cry driven by confidence, determination and sheer willpower. With its distinctive concept and uncompromising delivery, Casshan creates something that feels equally at home in underground hip-hop and anime-inspired music culture.
