DEAR-GOD, the musical project spearheaded by Robert Ortiz, a 22-year-old artist from Brampton, Ontario, recently teamed up with the Juno-nominated rapper, Clairmont The Second to produce Copiapó, an unholy industrial rap anthem. The song serves as a reflection of Ortiz’s personal experiences growing up and feeling like an outsider. Despite his efforts to be welcoming and respectful towards others, he has continually struggled to find his place in society, even in adulthood. Nevertheless, through his music, DEAR-GOD has found a powerful outlet to express his emotions and experiences.
