This must-listen composition showcases Laranja’s distinctive Brazilian fusion flavor, featuring contemporary stylings, space-cutting melodies, scatting, high-heat improvisation by instrumentalists, and a thrilling string section at the bridge, after the 4th minute mark. Chihiro Sings, known for her diverse activities as a singer and picture book author, contributes mesmerizing scatting vocals. The programming and string bridge section, composed and co-produced by Akihiro Horikoshi, former keyboardist of Escalators, adds a touch of Shibuya-kei and acid jazz nostalgia from the ’90s.
