The Los Angeles-based duo USE (Untitled Social Experiment), comprised of Krystall Schott and Dan Smith, is back with their latest offering, the ironically contemplative ballad titled I’ll Be Fine. Accompanying this mesmerizing track is a visually captivating music video that takes viewers on a slow-motion journey into the unknown, a spectacle that previously held audiences spellbound at an art fair. USE has once again delivered a thought-provoking and immersive experience that leaves a lasting impact.
“The original version of this song was angsty and very punk, lots of yelling and distorted drums. A couple years later we were working on a stripped down version for the album and visited a friend who lived in a haunted house in Oakland. The living room had a Steinway baby grand, so we rigged up some mics and recorded it that night. It ended up being so much more powerful than the original angsty demo so we just rolled with it!” USE
