Visors, the Washington DC-based sonic architects, are making waves by signing with Swedish indie label Icons Creating Evil Art. Their latest single, Fine Line, featuring the enchanting vocals of London’s Émilie Rachel, dropped alongside a visually stunning video, a must-watch for VHS addicts. Helmed by industry veteran Jeff Martin and joined by DJ/producer Daniel Biltmore and studio wizard Tom LoMacchio, Visors crafts a fresh soundscape — a new-school, new wave re-imagination. With influences from global tours and a dash of retrofuturism, their collaboration enriches the scene, showcasing a cool fusion of talent and transatlantic creativity.
“Meeting through mutual industry friend Dan Garber in 2022, Emilie began work on what Visors called the unfinishable song. In her first attempt, Emilies vocal took a string heavy 80s pop song originally titled “ET”, to the more modern contemporary dance track “Fine Line”.
