Nicolas Jaar, otherwise known as Against All Logic, has teamed up with a few unique artists, FKA twigs & Estado Unido along with no-wave icon Lydia Lunch, for a two track EP that’s streaming now! ‘Illusions of Shameless Abundance‘ is almost six minutes of industrial crunching & motorcycle engines revving. At least, maybe that was a motorcycle? Could’ve been someone throwing knives at a chainsaw, it’s difficult to tell with nihilistic tunes nowadays – either way it’s greatness! About three minutes into the track, Ms. Lunch joins with lyrics about consumption and abundance – precisely what we need to hear in this time of rampant consumerism.

Bandleader Rachael Whittle (vocals, guitars) has the nerve & the attitude to differ from the average alt rock bandleader sounding both angry & anthemic, while the boys -Scott, Jack & Stephen ‘bang’ their instruments like there is no tomorrow.
