Yesterday, November 11th, Greek black/thrash metallers Ravencult released their 3rd full album ‘Force Of Profanation‘ via Metal Blade Records. Almost five and a half years after its mindblowing 2nd full-length ‘Morbid Blood’ (Hells Headbangers, 2011), the black/thrash gang returns for good, and at first listen ‘the Athenian quartet delivers a merciless barrage of metallic death combining the 80s thrashing mayhem with the Black Metal darkness of the 90s‘.
And we totally agree with the band’s statement on their Bandcamp page: ‘Originating from Athens, Greece, Ravencult was spawned in 2001 to revive the relentless side of Black/Thrash Metal, bringing forth an unpolished, organic sound to manifest their morbid darkness.‘
