This 9th edition of Ready to be your Soundtrack includes the absolute banger – “questioning the status quo, questioning your own state of mind and how its affected by the systems we live in”-, by She Drew The Gun, vintage electronica influenced by the work of Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk and early acid house, from The Long Road, outstanding indie/post-punk (“a sentimental journey back to events from their past, and the stuff that surrounds them, and us all”) by Melbourne’s Diana Radar, a shoegaze/psych gem heavily influenced by classic surf, 1970’s rock, and Wiccan culture, from Florida ‘beach kids’ FayRoy, a ‘simply divine’ song by dark lo-fi heroes The Fibs, epic glam/garage rock/psych by Detroit-based Heartthrob Chassis, heartfelt indie-americana from Essex band Carousel, an excellent cover of Adamski’s 90s classic banger ‘Killer’ from German act Boys Noize, an “unreal” indie/electro with ear-melting vocals by Toronto artist Pleasure Craft & the wonderful indie pop (brightly titled) audiovisual treatment from London trio Wovoka Gentle.
