
There have been many tributes for the sudden passing of musical genius Prince Rogers Nelson, best known as Prince, since last Thursday, but the one by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, was without a doubt among the best. For their Saturday night show, on April 23rd, they opened with a cover of ‘Purple Rain’, one of the Prince’s most notable creations.
The crowd could not resist the occasion, and burst into one of the most spine-chilling sing-alongs. And at the end, “The Boss” simply said: “Prince, forever. God bless!”.
